Educational Speakers' Bureau Training

• Location: Downtown Alachua County Library (Main Branch), 4th floor Meeting Room
• Time: 2:00 - 4:00 pm

This workshop will be conducted by Aqueela Khuddus, who has been on the speakers' bureau for the school system in Saint Lucie and Alachua County regarding Islam for over 25 years. Alachua county schools invite speakers to their schools to give talks on many subjects. We need trained volunteers to participate in this very important form of Dawah. Come learn how best to talk to the children and represent Islam well to students of varying ages in the school system. We will be following a very well written curriculum established by Islamic National Group and endorsed by the Zytuna Institute. Mothers are especially encouraged to get trained and join the Speakers Bureau.
